WHEN DO APPLICATIONS OPEN?
We recruit annually for our Graduate and Cadet positions.
Applications for our 2022 Graduate and Cadet Program will open in late February 2021
WHAT IS THE SELECTION CRITERIA FOR APPLICANTS?
You must be enrolled in a Construction Management, Built Environment or Project Management related course to be considered for the Probuild Graduate program. Additionally, you must hold unrestricted working rights for the duration of the Graduate Program as a minimum.
We look for Grads who are resilient and driven. Who work hard and understand the importance of team work and building good relationships. Grads who are strategic in the way they approach tasks and have the ability to persevere when things get tough. We look for passionate, motivated achievers who demonstrate commitment through their work experience, their extracurricular activities and their life experiences.
WHAT LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES ARE PART OF THE PROGRAM?
There is a wide and exciting range of learning and development opportunities offered to both graduates and cadets alike. Some of these include:
- Leadership and personal development opportunities including Probuild annual, national graduate camp
- On the job training
- Rotation through relevant modules of the business
- Factory and site visits
- Interstate opportunities
ARE THERE OPPORTUNITIES TO WORK INTERSTATE?
Yes! Probuild is a national company, operating in Victoria, NSW, QLD and WA. There are great opportunities for graduates to work in any or all of these states.
DO I GET TO CHOOSE WHICH PROJECTS I WORK ON?
Our projects are spread across various locations and we assign graduates to projects based on resourcing and needs of the team. We will however take into consideration employee’s home location and any desires to work on a specific project.
CADETS
We also offer a select number of Cadet positions at Probuild.
Positions are for students who, at the time of commencing with us, have completed three years of study in an accredited AIB course and would like to take a full year out to work in the construction industry.
Applications open at the same time as Graduate positions.
SUPERVISOR PROGRAM
In 2017 we introduced our Supervisor Program. This program specifically targets future Senior Supervisors and Site Managers.
Unlike our Graduate program we look for people who have completed an apprenticeship and have experience in the construction industry. To be successful in joining our Supervisor program you will show strong leadership potential and will be enthusiastic about a career with a Tier-1 builder. We recruit for our Supervisors throughout the year.
